Please help me out here - I am getting VERY poor speeds at the moment. I restarted my router and it seemed to have helped a little, but 5min later it is back to inferior performance :


Maybe a port reset ?

Think I'm feeling the wrath of the shaper. Tonight is TV night, everybody is downloading that latest Breaking Bad distro.

The Western Cape is very very busy tonight, therefore some shaping is being applied.

This should clear later tonight.

We also expect things to be alot better in the next week or so when our new IPC capacity comes on board.

Very slow internet for a public holiday. Hoping these issues ease out with the new IPC.

There is currently very little shaping applied, as the network is quiet.

These speeds are indeed not normal for the state of the network currently.

I think it's a Telkom issue. Another account is giving me same slow speeds so definitely not OpenWeb.
