This morning we sent out a notice to clients regarding Telkoms congested exchange network.

Unfortunately, if your exchange is congested, there is not much we can do from our side.

The speed upgrades will make the Telkom situation worse.

As long as Openweb comes to the party from an account side ;)

EXPECTED DURATION: Less than 10 minutes
IMPACT: Service interruption
REASON FOR CHANGE: Failing services over to secondary cluster, due to hardware failures experienced on the primary cluster in Rosebank.
IS REFERENCE: CRQ27686

Too scared to give username. Don't know what you guys do with cancelled accounts in final month....
Load off of our backs. How people like to jump to claims of fraud and deception based only on your own experience is beyond me. In the mean time the majority of users don't have your problems and when they do, they are usually not Openweb's fault and when it is, only with Openweb do you get the CEO himself responding to problems on MyBoradband. That is MY and many posters here's experience.

And it is partly the reason why Openweb are winning the marketing and PR stakes, and incidentally, why people will come to their defence in contrast to other ISPs like MWEB, where people now have nothing but pure vitriol for that company...

Must agree, as hard a time as I give Openweb they at least go our of their way to resolve issues quickly and professionally

During peak times, speedtest will show your download speed, not your browsing speed. Because downloads are shaped, you cannot use speedtest to measure the speed of your browsing.

I would suggest using the Platinum Uncapped Unshaped account I issued you yesterday for troubleshooting purposes to test with during peak shaping times.

All I want to say is that I have requested a cancellation of my account and I just want to add that never in my life have I dealt with people so rude and unprofessional towards paying clients. I will not recommend anyone of my friends to move to openweb. This was the biggest mistake I have made.

This is a shock. I have been helping you with this quite politely, even if I have to say so myself.

I am sorry if I came across as rude, but you would have to point out where as unfortunately I cannot identify it.

All I want to say is that I have requested a cancellation of my account and I just want to add that never in my life have I dealt with people so rude and unprofessional towards paying clients. I will not recommend anyone of my friends to move to openweb. This was the biggest mistake I have made.

i am looking at your everyday 4mbps for 295,the hero special that just passed was 337for the 4mbps

how much better(what the one that cost more ,have more than the cheaper one)?

i will really love to get a gold accout but 350pm for 4mbps is about the max i will be able to pay when my line gets upgraded

i am only on the net after 6pm and weekends,i youtube alot, so what do u get more for the exstra R40 pm

Hi sybertiger,

Everyday Uncapped has a higher contention ratio and lower priority compared to the Hero Uncapped product. This can make a difference when it comes to shaping and unshaping.

Anyone else having issues with Twitch.tv? A few months back I could stream 'High' every night, it's now mostly impossible and I'm forced to watch medium. Tonight even medium stutters :( (Gamer's delight 4mb)

Capped TI account streaming on high perfectly.
