Are you on the MTN or IS backbone?

MTN backbone pumps full speed on P2P. IS backbone can't get above 20Kb/s on P2P with the same torrent. YouTube is great on both. Twitch is meh on both and browsing is snappier on IS with the same DNS (Google).

We could not find any general issues.

We do however see a vast increase in the amount of Telkom issues across the country, which could have caused the spike.

I have returned.from a callout now... Many Telskam exchanges have issues today.
Bromhof/Honeydew... 792 exchange... no ADSL at all. Entire Eagle Canyon offline

Once again struggling with NNTP (IS news server), but browsing and streaming is running 100%
Anybody experiencing similar?

the IS server isn't exactly the most reliable thing in the world. Occasionally it doesn't work very well, consider subscribing to a premium server to complement the IS server.

If it's an upgrade email support and you will be charged the extra amount. If it's a downgrade email support and you have to wait a month.

We do not use the Star rating system, as we manage our own capacity with IS.

We only shape, we do not throttle

We strive to offer the most unshaped experience after hours, but this is not guaranteed. We do of course have our Guaranteed Unshaped Experiences that we host from time to time.

We strive to offer the most unshaped experience after hours, but this is not guaranteed. We do of course have our Guaranteed Unshaped Experiences that we host from time to time.

Are there any services that are never shaped - with specific ref to the Gamers King package? I'm specifically interested in streaming services like Netflix/Hulu,

i stream 720p in youtube , stream hulu , wiht out anylag on my 4mbps gamers
but if u really want to have full speed all the time and got the money
get the platinum one,cost alot but if gamers are good thats only cost about R400 and the plat. is R2000 for the same speed
that must be just awesome!

well i work in the day from 8-5 so i dont know the day time speed
but after ours when i work usaly from 6-7pm to about 12
its stream verry well
but for daytime speed,i the origanal gold will be better,but still alot

u can try gamers,if it dont work try leon gold if not try orange

u can upgrade instantly , but when u have to downgrade u cant,so u can work ur way up till u find the sweet sport
between speed and your buget

I don't mean to be a pain with asking so many questions but I'd rather not jump ISPs another 10 times. So hears one more pls:

Can you give me any data as to how much OW was shaping streaming this month eg. 10% of the time, 40% of the time?

didnt know that,i stream fine so never bothered me really,but youtube have streaming problems in genarls,just google "slow youtube"
