Hi Mr Beep; having an authentication problem here. My OW Gold account just cut off at about 20:30pm and does not want to authenticate; says password is wrong (which it isn't unless you guys changed it). Tested multiple other ISP accounts (from which I am posting now) and works 100% so must be something your side. Can you please check? My account name is *; if you need more details drop me a PM please.

Don't put your username on a public forum. Remove it quick. Send those details via private message.
Also, try logging in to the UserCP, change your account password manually to whatever you like, and try the new password...
Network is shaped to death or something wrong on open web network . other isp accounts is running fine .
and maybe OW have no throttling but its just as bad to have heavy shaping most of the time

No shaping, and ow running great guns here, so probably not an ISP issue. Are you running tracerts to test where the problem is? And on both accounts, to determine for absolute sure that the account is the problem?
How do you change your password for the ADSL in usercp? I must admit the Openweb usercp is horrible...just incredibly horrible and unprofessional/useless. Can't manage sessions, can't do ****.
Under active packages, click the details link for the service you want to manage. Then click change password. Apparently they're working on a new usercp with more functionality...

Thanks for the help, but no, I was there and I cannot change the password. I can only view it; there is nothing to click on so as to change it. Guess I will have to wait till tomorrow and email them...since OW doesn't have phone support...

Yeah, it always helps me a lot to fap to my favorite pron star's latest videos offline at night in order to be fully de-stressed because my internet speed's always been terrible after 7pm everyday for no reasons. No, it's been proved that it's not due to exchange congestion. My free 1gb afrihost account's pretty fast. I suspect that I'm being throttled or something.

Cancelled my account. It's sucks that you have to give a calendar month's notice. I can only change my ISP now at the end of March. I'l be very glad to be rid of OpenWeb by end of March. Let this be a warning to all...
