OpenWeb's policy is the price is locked in until you cancel -or at least that's how it usually works...I'm sure the same applies here.

Correct. We will not revert you to the original price, you will pay the promotional price until you cancel :)

Hi,

Does the Gamers Delight package have access to the news servers? And backbone switching? Also i noticed in my control panel there is no where to change the adsl connections password :wtf: which seems a little worrying???

Any help/advice/instructions? Thanks!!:D

Hello,

It allows for access to the IS News Server: news.is.co.za

It does not offer backbone switching

Thanks for that, is there a failsafe switch over if anything goes haywire? And changing the password?

We try our best so that things don't go haywire :)

Some accounts support this feature, but some promotions do not currently. We do however implement security features that will prevent misuse on your account, as this will protect both us and our clients

Look for the usenet thread on this forum. Its all explained there. If you can't find the thread then you are not worthy and should rather quit the internet. :p

I would seriously say IS is now performing pretty much the exact same my VB account performed back in the day. It remains to be seen if it will last, but for now I'm extremely content.

Hi, Just a short note to once again rate Openweb's service as A1.
Could not ask for faster response or feedback in providing solutions and setting up my new account.
Thanks Guys

Yip, been very good, no issues whatsoever from my side. Everything flying at 100%. Thumbs up!

Yes! thank you! Speeds and latency have been excellent! (On the gamer uncapped special). Glad I moved over and have already spread the word.

Also signed up for the Gamer Uncapped special. The pings are excellent compared to what I was getting on Axxess and Afrihost (220-250 and some days it even went up to the 300 mark :erm:). With Openweb I get a constant 200-210 anytime of the day. - LoL EU server.

Download speeds are also decent, I signed up for the 384/512 package and I have a 1Mb line, after hours torrents average ~75KB/s, during office hours I get ~40KB/s BUT sometimes it goes up to 75KB/s.

Awesome product.
