Downloads aren't being throttled to nothing, maybe shaped yes, I'm running constant 200kb/s basically which is quite sharp for peak hours

We do not see VB as one of our networks. Only a few legacy accounts are still active with them.

Really? Your representatives tell me that VB has been experiencing problems for over a week now, and today I was told that downloads are being throttled to nothing. I am having an authentication error on my account for the second time in a week. All is well? Not from where I sit.

I don't really see the need for the VB accounts anymore, these IS accounts are running pretty awesome these days.

Yep, speed was down about 1 hour ago, rebooted modem and all is fine now (900Kbps on 1.0MBs line)

So i cancelled my Afrihost capped account and took an OW 1Mbps uncapped Vanilla account heres my speed test results:

International:
Test conducted on Thu Dec 13 2012 19:28:41 GMT+0200 (South Africa Standard Time)
Download Speed: 843 kbps (105.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 350 kbps (43.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 221 ms

Local:
Test conducted on Thu Dec 13 2012 19:30:30 GMT+0200 (South Africa Standard Time)
Download Speed: 857 kbps (107.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 422 kbps (52.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 49 ms

Just making sure that i am meant to be getting 12kbs download speed

This is not an account fault, as the network is completely unshaped currently.

Please call Telkom on 10210 and have them further troubleshoot
