So i saw an advert for openweb uncapped lte. when i enquired about it i was told that they use telkom.

Fup to 200gb @ up to12megs
Fup from 200gb to 350gb @ up to6megs
There after up to 3megs for remainder of month for R1499 per month.

not sure if its really via telkom because all of the other uncapped lte providers via telkom is using same speeds and fup's as telkom does.

Stay away.

A general note: If you can't buy the same account directly from Telkom it probably doesn't exist. There have been many LTE uncapped "products" popping up lately that turned out not to be uncapped.

I wont go for them. I already have oldschool telkom lte uncapped. I was just curious about their uncapped details

I wouldn't recommend Openweb to anyone. I paid, by accident, R3893,00 into their account instead of R389,00. I refuse to pay for the next month as I am suppose to be in credit. They cut my Internet service but still hasn't refunded the money. It is now 6 weeks!!!! I am furious! When I made the mistake I didn't worry to much as I thought it to be a reputable company and that it won't be a problem to get a refund. Was I in for a surprise!!! They are very quick to cut your service but not so quick to refund ;(

Why did you add the 0? Plus why aren't you debited like everyone else?

Yes. I'm using this. Nice that it's valid for 61 days.

Yeah and I think from all the mobile operators offering night data Telkom is the most reasonable with theirs being midnight to 7am. Others like MTN and Cellc is like 1am to 5am and times like that.

Also the fact that they allow ISPs to resell their contracts on a Month to month basis no big piles of documents and contracts to fill in is a super plus side. No need to deal with a Telkom store to sign a month to month deal when you can get it for the same price and cheaper than prepaid from and ISP of your choice.
