Hi Rohan

Was your issue resolved?

Upload Speed: 393 kbps (49.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

I am a new member of openweb uncapped gold 4mb. Lately, I have noticed every now and then my latency is extremely high. (as in 600ms) to EU battle net. It is normally 200 - 250ms. I never had this problem with my previous account with Axxess.

I have also noticed my download speeds have been acting strange. Sometimes I only get 1mb, then 2mb then 4mb. It differs from time to time (during the weekend) when it should be unshaped.

Still running amazingly even though dad bought a new mac and redownloaded the internet (260 gigs of itunes movies and music in a couple days)

Why anyone would use anything other than an Openweb Gold account is beyond me.

EDIT: MrBeep, can you please take a look at the PM I sent you :)

Hello

I have replied to all emails received the entire weekend.

Can you please PM me.

I sent a detailed email, I logged a ticket and have had no feedback. I am disappointed in the lack of feedback.

Anything up with Openweb today? On 2mbps uncapped and can barely browse..

Must be. My browsing speeds and especially video buffering speeds took a nose-dive around twelve. Still usable, just a bit on the slow side. Will wait it out for a bit.

Mine is also running slow, but only on international. Local is lekker with no speed problems there.

On the dot 5pm and my speed is back to what it should be. It seems like some heavy shaping during the day.

Torrents running very slow since this weekend. Daytime during the weekend was like 50kb/s on a 2mb line. Though it seems after midnight it runs at about 160kb/s. Running on IS backbone. Havent had issues in a long time and don't really want to change backbones (again) just to switch to IS after a week again, The other backbones seemed slower to me last I was on those. Currently running 40kb/s. I am on the gold package.

Edit: When 11pm struck torrents went up from 40kb/s to 180kb/s within a minute. Eish...

My connection gone to hell again too. Speedtest.net is showing full speed when testing, but I seem be be shaped on what is supposed to be a unshaped account. 4Mb line line fluctuates between 8kb and 112kb. This is horrible. 5 years with Axxess never had to send a support email. Had to do it twice so far with open web and its 17 days only.

Hello,

If you are experiencing a problem, kindly email [email protected] so that it can be investigated and addressed

Okay, here's an odd issue I'm encountering on Youtube on the IS backbone. If I pause a video, it stops buffering. If I let it run, it starts buffering again. Guessing I don't really have to explain why this is annoying on a 384 line?

Anyone else getting something similar?

that's a youtube change though to appease network operators, nothing Openweb can do about that :)
