Openweb uncapped ADSL feedback

I apologise. They are dealing with a large amount of queries today.

Please request the proxy details from them. After 18:00 a chunk of bandwidth becomes available which will be distributed.

That is fine, I understand...it's a mess out there :)

What proxy details? I am not using any proxy.

Also, my (and seemingly many other people's) problem is not bandwidth, it's a total lack of connectivity. I can not access anything - it's not just slow. Can't see how MORE of nothing will make any difference?

I can not even open .google.com.

Even gmail does not open to be able to mail Openweb...uggggg

Lets hope that at 6 there is a little sunshine, or at least enough to connect to Origin :)
 
I am getting very slow international speeds, but it seems latency has improved a bit.

Download Speed: 88 kbps (11 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 384 kbps (48 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 209 ms
 
I had access to gmail for a sec then everything started timing out again... I think we all will just have to wait this one out.

Some international pages are opening now....So there is light at the end of the tunnel

How does that happen if we cant connect to international sites now, how are we going to connect after 6 what will change the connection is still broken to international sites?
If its only through a proxy that only allows you to browse, you cant connect to steam or origin
 
My 1mb Gold Uncapped {VB Backbone} is working great has been downloading at over 100KBps since I got home at like 15:30, didn't even know their were problems today until I saw this thread...

IT TOOK ME 39 MINUTES JUST TO LOAD THIS WEBPAGE!!!

Gmail wont load at all, but that's fine. I will just magically conjure up a magic email from thin nothing and mail you immediately...

Really, you didn't think this one through ALL THE WAY, did you?
 
Not everyone uses Gmail. Most clients use the free locally hosted email address they get for free with their OpenWeb account.
