Are the Uncapped accounts *R539 4mbit uncapped* also subject to that FUP where if your in the top 50% you get shaped etc.
 
thinking about it, you should do just over (I'm guessing no more than 50GB) what I do on a normal OW Gold VB account if we both max out our lines. What is the cost of the package you are on?

edit: about 30GB if it is anything like the Axxess Uncapped Express+ Package. Coz if you are a heavy downloader, then it is really a 192kbps product during the day hours.

I grabbed close to 200gig last month before the new FUP kicked in so just wanted to check it was still the same

Wait are we being throttled after doing x amount of GB's on the Gold accounts? Have I missed something?
 
Hmm, why are we still getting half the speed on VB accounts MrBeep, or am I the only one experiencing this? What is going on here?

Being in the 20% sucks. My throtteling is now so bad that I had to try 10 times just to open 1 mail in gmail :mad:
 
I have moved to the Gold account from this month and the internet service is not a patch on what I had on the normal account. I basically have no internet and have to constantly switch over to my PAYG account just to be able to browse a bit. This is now 9 days into gold and I am very disappointed.

MrBeep has tried several things on his side, but unfortunately I am still nowhere closer to having basic access

I'm thinking of getting this account. Are you on 384 or 4096 line? When you switch to the PAYG account, does speed return to normal? If so, would appear to be account problem as opposed to line. Doesn't sound good ...

On the PAYG i get full speed. I am on 4096. The signal on the uncapped come through like morse code, up and down the whole time
 
The throtteling is really bad today or the network has bugs or something. Can't even load Gmail, never mind opening anything I might have...
 
Whats going on with VB today ?
