Must say, amidst the Seacom downtime, all going well this side :).

Once again OW rocks up during a major outage.

I agree, VB is horrible for torrents, had many ups and downs this weekend (mostly downs with a couple of peaks for short periods). However, I had to switch to VB to get web access during the day...on IS I could not even perform a google search, but the torrents ran great during off-peak hours... would be great to have VB during the day and IS during off-peak :)

I now have Telkom diagnosing my line on site :( Murphy's law - its running like a dream.
 
Seacom problem is affecting my online gaming sadly, but I'm using WA now till they fix it.
 
my internet was so so today, but right now it's useless. took 10 mins just to open this page.

Getting 1kb/s on my 4m gold.

Got swapped over to VB and getting 50% speed throughout the day.

There is currently a major Telkom fault causing issues on the BCS backbone. Engineers are attending
 
Exactly what I get.
IS is running 100% after-hours, but I can't even surf during the day.
With VB I can surf during the day, but torrents are a no go regardless of the time of day.
But overall the VB speed has been too slow, even over the weekend on normal downloads and surfing.

Need more testing, but looks like I will stick with the IS account, and get 1GB accounts to surf during the day.
The pro's of VB are over shadowed by their con's.

Edit: IS going like the bomb now. Couldn't log in to STEAM earlier but at around 5:30pm was in and updates are coming in, full line speed.

That seems to be the best part. At first could not open the Openweb website to see what is up...
No current notices. Last was 3 days ago.

Forgot to feedback here on day 2...
Sent support mail with mentioned bad stats. Ignited the ire of CEO, asked me to get off the network, full refund.

Seems bad perfomance was expected, so cut the complaints short? Looking at it now, thanks for letting me go.
It seems one is more into managing/monitoring/requesting/maak 'n plan here than actually just using the internet as it should. Professional SA business got some to go still....
 
What else could go wrong

I must have gotten the bad luck charm recently, anyway should i have this problem where i cannot dial/get adsl my router internet light is red and the error message i get is username or password is incorrect, how can this be if this morning I was merrily downloading and surfing the net, i tried to reset my router but no luck any ideas please
 
Some of you guys are very lucky all dead here now using my Nokia 5800 via OVI connection

Afterhours uncapped not running nicely at all. Mr Beep I know I only payed for the R899 but still.
