I know... I just want to add something... Usually some people like/me and other gives advise on what to buy when people asks about products etc...

But know one ever listens so sometimes it leads to frustration at the end - their is actually one thread related to this topic about product ADVISE which no one took..

Anyway... I do understand your situation:eek:. But stuff like these has been posted so many times over and over on this forum ... :rolleyes:

The PS3/Wii also fails, perhaps not as much as the 360 but it does.

Just this week ... 3 YLOD PS3s and another on its way tomorrow.

Next-gen means 'next-replacement' in my experience!

My own Xbox 360 is 2 years old. Going to add a custom case and other goodies ... perhaps also upgrade to a Lite-On drive and a whisper fan to bring the db's down :)

If you don't have an issue with your console ... so be it. Mileage varies actually.
 
I recieved my authorisation number about 3 weeks ago but still nothing :/ Lucky I decided to buy another Xbox 360 in the mean time.

If this new one dies, I'm going PS3 though *shrug*

CNA Clearwater had one last Halo Wars bundle ;)

Tried Incredible, Look & Listen, BT Games and a few other places - but no one had the bundle
 
surprise surprise still waiting for my RROD replacement, wish I bought a PS3 rather ... :P

Yes with YLOD (yellow light of death). It will pick up as more people find my site via Google searches.

Also have another 3 PS3 consoles booked in needing Blu-ray laser replacements.

Waiting for the new units to arrive from overseas so that I can install it.
 
i hate MID, they say they might have stock tomorrow ( 25th June ) damn a whole month so much for 48 hours, should of sent it directly to MS would of been faster? I am so suffering of withdrawals, dammit. Spoke to a Trifina today.... I want my machine... so much for hellopeter, not even a reply yet.... :(

You can't go directly to MS, unless you're willing to take a flight overseas, and, quite frankly, you'd become an urban legend!

If you want your console back short of suffering withdrawal symptoms, you could go directly to MID. They're situated in Boksburg, though they've relocated recently.
Irrespective, you're likely to get a time bomb console just prowling to pounce on you with RROD.

My opinion, based on experience, is that repair your console, sell it and buy a Jasper. The Jasper is, oh, so much quieter.

It's an older article (end of May), but it was written in response to this thread.

As I said before, log your complaint with HelloPeter and INSIST, come hell or high water, that Microsoft personally facilitate your replacement with MID. Do not let them refer you to MID. Do not take no for an answer. Keep logging Hello Peter complaints until they assign a Microsoft customer representative to you that can get an MID person to contact you, in writing, and that you can copy on all your mail with MID. It's the only way to get your XBOX swapped out sooner. This is what I did, and it also worked for Azimuth.

dude i phoned microsoft they said they'll pick it up and repair it and return it as long as warranty is there. time was only the issue :( waiting for my MID swap out will sell it and get a Jasper :P any1 want to buy my timebomb ?? hehehe


still waiting for MID they should've gotten stock on the 25th mmmm i wonder lolz. a lady told me not to worry they will phone me mmm, not worry mmm, missing my xbox games :P
