linkIn the last 48 hours before the general elections, other opposition parties are turning on the Democratic Alliance to accuse its officials of bribery and corruption.
The Congress of the People on Monday accused an official with an office close to that of Cape Town Mayor Helen Zille, the DA leader, of taking money from a family "in despair" and in return promising to secure them housing.
The official, whom Cope named as Ismail Petersen, is said to work for DA councillor Frank Martin although he told the complainants that he worked in the mayor's office.
Meanwhile up in Gauteng, the Freedom Front Plus promises to present later on Monday "particulars of systemic corruption, non-transparency, and intimidation of whistleblowers" in the DA-controlled city council of Midvaal.
Well,well,well...
