Order wait time

Hi all.

Ordered the R299 25+25GB deal from Afrihost yesterday and got told this morning that they have a backlog so it will be a while before I get my device delivered. Should I cancel and go with someone else? The only reason I went with AH is that I already have a debit order going with them for some mobile data using the MTN APN.

If you mean a free router deal - it looks like all the resellers are stuck with backlogs
 
I had an order with them as well, just cancelled. Will try source a router and just get the sim card. beats the wait. Apparently B315's will "possibly" be available towards the end of November and the B618's in the beginning of December.
 
worth the wait, id sit and see if the supplier gets a new shipment and get my device then.

the estimate they give is a estimate in the end,

could get there quicker.

service is worth it in the end, works brilliantly even indoors

Did they put you on the waiting list where like when they get the stock they will consider you first or they just asked you to keep checking? I think AH offer beats them all. MWEB if you cancel the deal you have to pay for the device. All the ISPs are out of B618 routers because of Rain deal.
 
Well turns out I panicked over nothing. I got a call yesterday morning as I arrived at work and got confirmation from the couriers. Should be up and running in 3 to 10 days they said. Not too bad. Pretty sure I will buy the B618 on my own later if I like the service.
 
Ordered mine last week Wednesday. Got it yesterday (following week Monday) despite device shortages. Quite quick if you ask me.
