Ordered Fibre. So it begins.

Jonas arrived just past 9 as promised and got straight to it. They seemed to be not getting a connection though. So they drove all over the neighbourhood and eventually found the problem at the exchange and rectified it. They just left and the lights are all green on the huawei device. Now i just have to phone webafrica and get the login details etc. So close i can almost taste it now....

i was shocked when i signed up with Webafrica and found that two devices were installed. one by openserve and one by Webafrica. I have the device in the picture here in the Midlde east and it took them one hour to connect the fibre yto my apartment and installed the device - they then left and said your service will be up and running in 10 minutes. 6 minutes later its up!!!

Can i replace the two boxes with a single box? (i have a the CPE box HG8245Q and HG8247H ) and does need both usernames and passwords for two SP's ?

So signed up for fiber via cool ideas and they told me they have a 4-6 week backlog sigh.
