Hi, I have a paradox IP150+ I just got it. Connect the Pannel to the serial on my mg5050 and network cable to my network. I can find it on fing and able to ping the IP address but it does no open in a web browser and I can't find it on IP Exploring Tools - version 1.66. Is there a step that I missed because I can't seem to connect to the device.

I'd love to know too...My IP150 got hit by lightning over the weekend and I can't connect to the new IP150+ that I got to replace it like I used to be able to :(

Yes. Been struggling for last 2 weeks now. Keep thinking it was my network but realize it’s something else now

Try a reset (hold in a pin for 5 seconds and repeat)
Then do a static IP connection, using port 10000.
In Babyware, connect using InField tab

My Insite gold sub expires today. It's not getting renewed. I control my alarm via home Assistant. Just need to figure out how to get which zone triggered in my notifications.

Thanks to @Tinuva in the HA thread ,at least am getting a notice immediately that alarm has triggered and which partition . Now I just need the zone name. Hopefully I will crack it by Saturday. (I get sms in any case about which zone triggered but it's a bit slow)

Do you connect to your panel from HA via the IP150+? I am thinking of doing it since the Insite App just keeps telling me "the connection to Swan Server is lost" I have a paid subscription and the internet light on the IP150+ just blinks now.

You don't use the IP150+ at all, you replace it basically with a small computer called a Raspberry Pi which you can connect to via the internet.

Anyone having issues accessing their system via Insite Gold of late?
when I try and access the app, I get a message saying its lost connection with the swan server. am not getting any push notifications

OK, specifically found this thread just because I have no idea what is going on - my Inside Gold app refuses to connect to my IP150 / MG5050 system. Started giving issues about 2 weeks ago. Going into IP150 config pages (by going to IP address in browser), it says in the logo that it loses connection to SWAN server. Using the Inside Gold app to re-add the site simply times out, or says "no camera available" (I have no cameras).

This is quite concerning just before the holidays when many people are leaving their homes. Anyone have any other tips?

So, mine stopped working about 2 days ago. If you look at the actual IP150 unit in the control panel box it the internet light is not on. I tried even connecting it to another internet connection to no avail. I tried resetting it with a pin, also no dice, just cannot connect. So while on the same network connect to the IP150 on the ip and web port (mine is 1449, used fing to find this out) and the event log just says "IP150 SWAN supervision lost". I figure SWAN is a dead duck now...
I found a plan B work around. Hope it works for you guys also.
You will need to enable port forwarding on your router to forward port 10000 to you IP150 ip on your network.
One the Insite Gold App click the + on the top right.
fill in "Site Name (Optional)" , i made it my site name - local , just for reference.
There is a switch there now on the newer version of Insite gold call "Enable static IP", enable that.
Enter your local IP : port (port 10000).
Enter you router external IP : port (10000).

I have just done this and it seems to be a backup for now, I am unsure if this does push notification or the like.
But I can log in both internal and externally now. I am hoping this will work till SWAN can figure their life out and will give me enough access to do things.

Paradox has finally admitted there is an issue their side on the SWAN server. No ETA on resolution unfortunately.

Its not the first time it's acted up like this. Seriously debating switching to Olarm now.

Just saw this on Paradox.com landing page: -

Dear Customers,

At this time SWAN Services are almost recovered, but you may still experience connectivity issues.
We expect Swan service back to full operation within 24 hours.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and your patience is highly appreciated .
We are doing our best to short it as much as we can.
Thank you,
Paradox Team.

this is the reply I got from them, confirms the above

"We are aware that customers are struggling to connect to their sites or receive push notifications and we are very sorry for it.

We are encountering issues with Swan servers. We are doing our best to fix them, the server team is working hard to recover the connections and push notifications.

We are also working to change the servers with new ones, with new technology, and implement a better backup system, to improve overall Swan experience for our customers.

Unfortunately we don`t have a fixing time estimation but we are doing our best to recover the server operation.

For connection issues, until the server issues are solved, we recommend adding a static IP/DDNS connection alongside your existing site. This way you will be able to connect even if the Swan server is down.

To connect through a static IP with Insite Gold, from an external network, the IP150/+ module software port (default 10000) will have to be forwarded from the router configuration.

If you don`t have an external static IP, you can use a DDNS.

To add a static IP/DDNS, in the site list screen tap on the menu button and choose New Installation. Tap on the pencil icon near the site that you wish to edit.

Then just enable static IP and enter the IP and port or DDNS."

Can confirm this works

Great, thank you for all these posts: was wondering what was going on with the Insite app. Also just got a DDNS solution setup to get things working again.
