Paying for Dates

Have you girls ever paid while out on a date? Not talking about first time, but later in the relationship?

I didn't mind paying. There was no question of me paying. I minded that there was not even an offer of contributing.

But how do you go there? Difficult. I think my granny was over eager burning her bra...

I think it's a difficult situation. I'm not good at dating. So by that time no matter how much I like you I just want to go home and move on to date no 2. All that awareness, should I offer should I not. Should I hold his hand or not. About what will we talk.

I think boys should just pay for the first date. It would take away the stress of what is the right and what is not!

If my dude doesn't wanna pay then he shouldn't ask me to go somewhere....

PS: though we'd been on a few more ''friendly'' dates (friends places, movies, drinks...) On our first ''offical romantic '' date -dinner for 2 at a nice place- he not only paid for dinner but also gave me a R400 bottle of nice smellies as a pressie. :D
+1

Let's just say, for me, being with you would suck regardless of whether I could afford you or not.

I just couldn't counter this with out being a complete ****. Or maybe you're just a lucky chilligirl. Very lucky considering.

I always help.Offer too on any case (3 year relationship) but it is great knowing that I can save for stuff and him too. but when he takes me out. Like a date he pays.

I even take him out to spoil him. :) he likes that. Sushi it is then.

NEVER! on the first date or the next day or 3. That right is earned not a given or to be expected. Nor would I expect if from a guy.

My motto has always been : try it on the first night (you won't get) & it's the last you see of me....

I suppose my Italian Stallion is one in many million & I won't let him go! :p :D

(& before you ask - no one I dated for less than a month got that far... & a few beyond a month also got no more than a kiss or 2. A girl must have her standards, just like the guy should)

I dunno, maybe you're right. It's actually not that different guys though.

It would just be a matter of reaching for your purse. Which would say to me, hey I'm an independent woman and I don't want you to think I'm looking for someone to pay my way. When I say nah, seriously don't worry about it I'm saying thats great but I understand you're the girl and I'm the boy and this is a first date and you know what? really, its 50 bucks.

:erm:

to be honest. On the night of that date i was still not sure if I would like him in THAT way....

Realised about 3 weeks later only ...

So yeah he got nothing that night (lol, not even a kiss yet)

As you wish to see it ;)

I'm not fighting, I'm not mad, I'm just glad I have who I have in my life. :D

I still wouldn't offer to pay on a first, 2nd or 3rd date. Even now I don't pay when he takes me out :p
