PC Link Computers: Legit?

I have bought from them quite a few items in the past, all delivered ok. If they have closed their recently opened Kyalami shop, then I can only assume that they made an error in the running cost and have incurred losses from this and this has now affected their online business.
There is a huge difference between running an online store and a brick and mortar store - and that Kyalami shopping center has yet to take off.
I hope they recover, they had fairly good prices and in the past never had delivery issues.

i have just put in a charge back request with my bank. waiting for feedback now. a fraud case was opened.
Maybe I need to do the same.
I have paid for a hard drive and nothing after a month.
I bought the hard drive from them because the memory I ordered previously was delivered in three days. I have been scammed.
I wont use them again unless they sort it out.

After multiple emails and no responses, maybe I also need to raise a claim against them for fraud.
I need my money back and because of their zero service I wont use them again.

I am shocked, I placed two orders last week and after reading some of the horror stories here I sent them an email asking what the status of my orders are, I got this response today:

"Unfortunately we have to cancel the below order and action a refund request due to a problem encountered with the distributor.
Refund will be processed within 7 to 14 working days.

Both orders have been cancelled

Lets hope the refund happens without me requesting a charge back from the bank.

Seems like I dodged a bullet...

You haven't dodged anything
Open a case of fraud

Saw this from the Shut Down PC Link Facebook https://www.facebook.com/shutdownpclinkshop/
If the below is to be believed, then it appears more people have started to open cases of fraud against PC Link , at this stage, no idea how many people have unfulfilled orders but from the number of complaint's mounting on different platforms it appears to be quite a lot.

Jodie Bailey-Norris
Update: I laid a charge of fraud with the SAPS. I also contacted FNB’s fraud department and supplied them with all of the detail, including the SAPS case number. On Wednesday evening around 7pm I received a notification from FNB via Incontact that a deposit had been made into my account for the full amount that I had paid over. On Thursday morning the investigating officer called me to let me know he had made contact with them on the Tuesday prior and they had assured him they would sort out my refund. Evidently, when the police called to say they were investigating them for fraud they realised I wasn’t playing and that the game was up and they refunded me to get that off their backs. But the investigating officer also said he was well aware of the many complaints against them and that he was looking into the matter.

a recent complaint on Hello Peter claimed when they went to the PC Link "offices" it was being packed up, now from Carb forums, the courier that was supposed to pick up this persons order came back with notes that the Company had closed down.
So I also have an outstanding order with PC Link Computers/Shop

Seems the company closed down

I've been waiting more than 2 weeks for a router and now when I sent the courier guy to collect

The notes came back and stated that company closed down

Don't know what to make of this and how to get back my money
