MOBO = R400
CPU = R1200
HDD = R700
RAM = R 500 (depending on make and speed)
DVD = R 140
Is Windows Licensed? Yes = R1500 No = Don't even mention it, it is not yours to sell
Screen ETC = R700
The above Prices is based to current Pricelist available from Eurobyte etc.
Grab the Game and Incredible Errection (Sorry, my bad, I meant Connection) Adverts and see what you can buy for new at your suggested price.
Tell you what, make me a price and give more info on screen etc and I will see if i want to buy it (a game OK)

That price for the HDD (@5400) is a little exorbitant, seeing that you can get a brand new Samsung F3 (@7200) 1TB for R500.

Even the price of the CPU is a bit high given the fact you buy Q9550's for R1500 second hand. I got a Q8200 a few months ago for R700.

Also it must be asked whether that windows 7 is OEM or not. I'd say you should be looking safely:

MOBO = R150-200
CPU = R800-900
HDD = R350
RAM = R 400-600 (depending on make and speed)
DVD = R 100 also depending whether it's sata or IDE
Win7 Ultimate = R1000 if it's a retail copy
Screen ETC = R300 and up depending on what it is... Is the screen LCD or CRT? What make of mouse and keyboard as well as speakers? Hard to guess here

Safely around R3k depending on windows and the peripherals. Lets not forget about age

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 Quad-Core Processor, 2.50 GHz Core Speed, 4 MB Cache,1333 FSB, 45NM R 999-00 (ex VAT) Brand New
Kingston 2.0GB DDR II 800MHZ Non ECC Desktop Memory Module (800Mhz, PC-6400, 240-Pin)CL5 R 299-00 (ex VAT) Brand New
New Samsung 22X IDE / SATA Non lightscribe DVDRW-Bulk pack -Black R 179-00 (ex VAT)
NEW LG 17" CRT Flat Screen Monitor 1280X1024 @ 6 R 599-00 (ex VAT)
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 32Bit R 1399-00 (ex VAT)

That is according to my suppliers latest price list. I was only trying to show the OP how much it would cost to assemble a new PC with those specs. But I would agree with R2800 - R3000 depending on the type of peripherals that comes with the PC.
