Got the Hisense 50a6100uw about 2 weeks ago but when I tried to set up the wifi I was only able to connect to 2.4 ghz and not 5ghz ,along with the netflix issue of having to reset the app often i reached out to hisense support who sent me a link for firmware but I am not able to install it tried the steps they gave me and through the gui where I get the "No USB upgrade package found." message.Any suggestions maybe?

Hi @Hisense SA I have downloaded the .bin file from the website for the 55A6100UWTS but the USB ubdate doesn't work. I have tried holding down power button but it just boots the VidaaU screen and then the TV. Alternatively trying manual update from USB says no update software found on the USB? According to the website it is supposed to be a .pkg file, can you perhaps assist?

The usb needs to be in fat32 format

Had the exact same issue I tried evetything ,I called support a couple of times,they sent me different versions but still nothing, I eventually gave up so I just took the Tv back to where I purchased it and they sent it back for repairs,afterall you get a four year warranty

The .bin file worked for me. Did you try it?

Hi @Akafreakazoid, I did, the 1st Method was to unplug the TV, plug in the USB, plug the TV back in and press and hold the Power Button on the remote. 2nd Method was to try firmware update through the menu (USB).

@buff0k mine worked without any of those methods. TV went into update mode as soon as it was switched back on. .bin file was in usb root folder.

I recently purchased a 43" Hisense TV with the following details:
Model number: HE43A6100UWTS
Software version: VA001.01.00a.I0730
Extended version: I0730

I have to reset the showmax and netflix app every other day. Could you link me to the firmware update? I tried the firmware update from the website but it won't install(usb_HEA6100UWTS 2.bin).

Have great interest in the power of ULED. OLED and QLED are beyond my wallet, unless I strike gold :cool:

Hi Hisense SA,

I also have the same TV. I tried to use the link above, but the software does not work.

My DSTV does not want to work, and I have to reset Netflix every day.

My software version is V0000.01.00a.I0421

Could you please send me a link to the correct update file that I need, nothing I have tried seems to work.
 
So you have to update the firmware on the A6100 to enable HDR?

Is there anything you then have to turn on?

On my N5000 it automatically turns on when it detects it. Though to be honest on a TV without a high brightness it's a bit eh.

Does it give you a notification HDR enabled or something?

Bought the 58a6100uw, great TV, but showmax and dstv have issues.

On play, gets network timeouts.

Please send firmware update. Online check states latest version
