Honestly speaking, don't waste your time with any TV's "smart interface", be it Samsung, LG, Hisense, whoever.
Rather get a good quality panel, this is obviously depend on your budget, requirements, use case.
Then add an Nvidia Shield (preferably) or if it's out of your budget, get an Ematic AGT419 (ethernet) or Mi Box S (no ethernet and low quality WiFi chip) and you'll be much better off in the long term.
I use an Apple TV 4K box which is brilliant. But the Hisense firmware doesn’t allow seamless CEC integration so the experience on the Hisense with a smart box is far inferior than on a Samsung with the same setup. I don’t use the Samsung smart features but the underlying Samsung Tizen OS plays nicely with the Apple TV, while the Hisense VIDAA OS doesn’t. If you combine that with the dirty screen effect that you inevitably get on the Q8600, the whole package for me is an overall 3/5 at best. I’ve tried 2 Q8600’s and returned them both because once you see the DSE you can’t unsee it and Hisense doesn’t seem to care enough to sort out the CEC
