You are viewing things through a vacuum of Muslim bias, most Muslims do not accept this sort of behavior.

I can dig up dirt on Christianity, during the dark ages Europeans were forced to convert to Christianity or face the death penalty for not doing so and sticking to their 'pagan' practices.

Not all Muslims majority are peaceful, you have Catholic priests molesting kids does not mean that Catholicism is bad.

What about when the missionaries came to africa and forced people to convert? They completely cleared the Nigerian Ibo society.

lol, same old same old, i stop caring a while ago about that and this forum. I saw this yesterday or just morning? on news24 and specifically didn't post it as i knew as soon as it was posted there would be a few other posts of terrorists etc by the usual suspects even if it had to be old news and not from SA!

That being said I find it kinda appalling that this kind of this is filtering down into SA and being accepted by % of our population who are normally quite tolerant of each other. Remember this is in SA hence its more relevant than what happens elsewhere you can't easily exclude differences in culture & social conditions etc.

Uhm at UCT last yr the muslim place was turned into a orgy and people took dumps(yes crapped) in the washing area(not a toilet area). Hence it no longer as an open door policy and access controlled etc.

My point is this, there is a tendency for islamic bashing in many forms to be acceptable in the US media particularly post sept 11. Of cause people are starting to be aware of this now and its starting to filter down in their media too.

If every religion were held accountable for followers who were extremists or simply belonged in an asylum i doubt there would be ANY relgion that would be spared. Want to solve the radicalism, remove oppression and it will die off. As long as there is oppression you can make people do anything to get out of it.

The priest thing is silly me thinks, much like terrorists using religion + oppressed people to further their own ambitions, so too did the priests.
