Hi everyone

I am looking at property in Pinehurst Estate in Durbanville and would love feedback and tips / things to be aware of etc.
The property prices seem to be rising fast and I'm wondering how long this will be sustained ... (Not that I am asking anyone to predict the future)

If you know of anyone in the Oakwoods complex or surrounding, please spare a minute and tell me your thoughts and/or experience.

Thanks very much!

Property for what purpose, to live in or to rent out? And how much do you know about CT and Pinehurst currently? Difficult to give more info if we don't know what you currently know. It's a popular area, nothing too dodgy too close. I know people who live in the Summerwood complex there and love it. Two or so years ago people I spoke to seemed to note an increase in house burglaries in that general Pinehurst/Langeberg area, but that might just have been their personal experience and not statistically correct. Haven't heard of anything more serious than that.

If you are investing go for it ,they expanding fast in that area !

And that area also has 40mps VDSL ,which can be used as selling point when renting out.

I stay just down the road and its very nice and picturesque. There are different areas of pinehurst and theres a great shopping centre right there. The prices are bit high but still reasonable imo. Can't go wrong buying a house there.

Edit.
There is also a private meridan school 2min away that goes from G1 to Matric irrc. It's also going to become a primish area as there will be a woolies just down the road and a load of new complexes going up on the phistantekrral road.
