My lil bro wants to upgrade his pc AKA buy a new one
All he needs is a new tower he has a 22" samsung monitor so thats good enough.
can you guys please help me help him, he is a gamer and budget id say R10000

Case - R700 - CM590
HDD - The change

Difficult call, GFX yes, CPU maybe. What board does he have and what ram?

Might be a good idea to find another 2K and go i7.

oh ok so can you guys recommend an i7 system with an nvidia card preferably lol im what some would calll a faanboi,since iv never had a ATI card but i dont like them for some reason.

If you live in the greater durban area then you can buy a base i7 system for R7000. Just add more ram & bigger HD for R500 as well as a killer video card.

Go with ATI for now, better than nVidia.

OK, this is basically a budget decent i7 rig. Personally I would go for a better mobo but you'd be looking at an extra R1000.
