Please Rate Cool Ideas

Consistently getting low download and upload speeds with cool ideas. I have a 20/10 fibre and only getting the following results.
Ping: 56ms
Download: 4.76 Mbps
Upload: 1.71 Mbps

downloading via wifi? try network cable to compare results. many things can affect your wifi speeds ... walls, distance, number of wifi devices connected and using, etc

At this moment in time, I'd give CISP a 7/10. I pay for a service, I get a service. They are not the cheapest (as far as I know), but I suppose you get what you pay for. Sometimes it's a bit slower than I expect, but that does not last long enough for me to really complain about it. Support (on the forum anyway), is above average. Billing is simple. There's a portal that works. Have also been around long enough now, to have been through this before. I.e. New/Awesome ISP -> Average ISP -> Slight wobble that turns into raging fire -> Death/Hell.

Sadly very true. Been there with MWEB, Afrihost, WebAfrica, Axxess, Vox, CrystalWeb and now on Cool Ideas. All started great then gradually went to s#%t

CrystalWeb probably the most recent one that went from absolute best ISP to now being a complete mess. Some people on CrystalWeb ADSL have been without internet since Friday.

Thats really sad - back in the day no-one compared for performance or support..

Well except Axxess performance wise but for 3x the price and with crap support

I have had great support from the team when I was trying to get my 2nd Fibre installation resolved.

I have had zero issues with connectivity (other than a Vumatel downtime earlier this year for about 12 hours) - and I get what I pay for - internet at the rated speed (up and down) - no contentions or shaping or throttling.

Pure - Uncapped - Bliss

They have the right model for their products and their vertical network scaling to provide enough bandwidth as the user base grows - shows... Can't rate an ISP high enough as I can them - simply - the best I've ever had in all my internet years

That is weird, I had my internet with them for over 3 years now, and never had stability issues.
