Performance: Very, very reliable. Local speed - good (full line speed, 8Mbps) Int speed - not good (0.5 - 3 Mbps) Latency - fine for what I do, which isn't very dependant on latency.
Support: Fine, I guess. It's been a very long time since I tested it.
Value for money: Price can't be beaten in SA, although I'd like to see a steady increase in my gigs.
Overall satisfaction: Meh, some months it's difficult to stretch 20+30 gigs to last the whole month.
What to improve: Well, where do I start...
I want more gigs, faster international speeds and lower prices. In that order.
May I suggest a well priced 50 gig package with a significant number of local gigs (like 100) included. And when I say well priced, I mean compared to Do 3, which effectively gives me 50 (total) gigs for R 554, so maybe another R 200 for the extra gigs? Like R 754 including the 10 meg line. Oh, and the local must be usable throughout the month.
Edit: Some sort of prepaid offering would be nice. Theoretically, I could require a Telkom Internet account to use on someone else's line. Prepaid is the easiest way to provide for those people (kids using their parents line / room mates sharing one line but not one account / people who've had a heavy month and need a few extra gigs but don't need them every month.)
