Sorry man, couldn't hear you above all the coil whine noise

On a sad note, I didn't manage to secure a PS5. I have been checking all day and nothing popped up, didn't receive any notifications of stock either. All I can think is that the rumours were exactly that, rumours.

Somebody already posted that story over a week ago, I'm pretty sure.

I'd be pretty shocked if Sony doesn't reach its sales target of 6.5 million by Easter.

If Sony doesn't sell at least 3 times the volume of Xbox's they might have something to worry about. Last round its estimated that PS4 did 155 m vs Xbox One's 43 m in the 7 years they been out. So only doing double might mean they losing ground.

Oh and just for comparison Nintendo Switch did 65 m in its 1st 3 years and still selling like hotcake taking the crown on Xbox/PS5 release last month. That might be because of stock outs but still impressive if you ask me as they not showing any sign on slowing down.

I still don't get the love for Nintendo, I get the Wii it was cheap and cheerful. But the switch isn't as powerful as the Xbox one OG, it's only feature is being able to become portable but it's priced at the One X price.
Do people like BOTW and Mario that much? Cause all cross platforms run like molasses

Not my cup of tea either but I know they make games more aimed at the family like Animal crossing.
The strangest thing I found about Nintendo is not the console sales its that you almost never see their games on sales.

Edit: Current top exclusives like:
Pikmin 3
Mario Kart 8
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
Ring Fit Adventure
Pokemon Sword / Shield
Does not do it for me at all.... But I'm almost sure (After watching above) my wife should not know about em ;)

They never have to have their games on sale, people will pay full price all the time for them by the looks of it. Nintendo has a weird stranglehold on people.

Was it not you that claimed Microsoft did not report sales and that the 43mil is not true?
Where do you get PS4 155m sales from? as what I know its more like 114m?

There was a study recently on IQ and choice of gaming console. PlayStation owners averaged about 1 point higher than Xbox owners if I recall correctly , but PC Master Race beat both (no surprise) and most of the Xbox owners here are also PC gamers.

That means the IQ stats are not on your side, Jean Claude VanDumb
 
There will be only one winner, the same as all previous generations. It is already clear who the winner will be............the same as previous generations.
All the polls from people sitting 24/7 on MB because that are bored with their game pass, means nothing in the real world.
Stop trying to spin new conspiracy theories. Go back to the basement for the next 7 years till Whatsyoumacallit Series 360 two Z comes out and try your luck again.

LOL to illustrate my point I would like you to post us a link to it. As it might be true, but I suspect your IQ inserted "and most of the Xbox owners are also PC gamers" and its not in the "study". To again spin a ridiculous argument.

Anyone with a bit of IQ will know that if you want to play PC and console you get a PS5. That is best of both worlds, Why would anyone want a Xbox and PC, it does the same games?

No, I’m just talking about Xbox owners here at MyBB, but you do have a point - PC gamers are more likely to opt for the inferior console (PlayStation) because of the exclusives, skewing the results and inflating the average IQ of PlayStation owners:

My bad. I used google search results... next time I'll use 3 different site to fact check.

Edit Oops looks like I used PS2 vs Xbox sales numbers....
PS2 155 vs Xbox 43
PS4 was 112 vs Xbox one 48

So just over double the sales.
Oh well still fact remains if they just doing double they might be slipping :P

Rumours are the next gen switch is going to be a beast and will be able to play games at 4K with the help of DLSS. The Nvidia Shield TV is a great showcase on how that tech works on a mobile processor.

Thanks, that proves the point. PS and PC close to each other, Xbox IQ way lower.
