Quadcopter/Drone Thread

Good day guys,

I'm playing around with the idea of buying a drone, been reading a bit and doing a bit of research but nothing beats a good old user review.

The obvious choice for me is the Mavic Pro, but that is my uneducated opinion... What do you guys say?

Will be using it for a bit of novice photography and just playing around...

The Mavic seems to be everything fitted into one small unit... Yes, no?

I have had nothing but joy from my mavic pro

Thanks for the reply skinndeep, do one normally buy a extra battery or two from the get go, as the battery will allow you just more than 25 min flight time, probably how long I'm going to take to build up courage to move the analog stick on the remote :P

The Fly More option is worth it in my opinion.

So I have barely touched my Mavic Pro (Flymore Combo), probably 10 flights since Jan (when I received it). I'm open to reasonable offers if anyone wants to purchase it. I just don't get the time....

FYI: I purchased a skin file to cut my own stickers. If I find the darned file, will chuck that in for free. BTW currently the Mavic is in Green livery at the moment.

What price are you looking for?

Same here, I wanna import but duties push the price up to what a Mavic will land.

Well, after watching some videos about the Spark and seeing what new features the latest software update brings I might just be visiting my local Kloppers tomorrow. Only one thing that's a bit concerning about the Spark is the relatively high number of drones that just drop to the ground. I will do some more reading up on this issue before making a final decision to purchase.

The image quality of the spark just doesn't seem worth it, I'd rather save a bit and get a Mavic Pro, that thing delivers the goods.
