No. 128 kbits/sec equates to 128/8 kByte/sec = 16 kByte/sec
Yeah, well, no one has yet answered the the question, namely, what/how much are you
currently able to download on one of these R50-00 "uncapped" data bundles ...
If you can realisticly get 1.2-1.5 GIG. then it is worth it, if you get less not, if you get more, then you have reason to smile ...
Of off the top of my head, I'd say 1.5GIG. was attainable if MTN don't play foul ... , and stick to the stated speeds ..
PS: went shopping for a pre-paid data modem yesterday, everywhere I went Vodacom. MTN, Cell-C, no pre-paid data modems in stock. Cell-C however did have their pre-paid with bundled data + modems in stock, which was not what I wanted.
PPS: Was at CNA, looking for a PS3 game for the kid, and they had a Vodacom K4505Z, so I bought it ... , put a 110M data on it, and blew it watching YouTube vids, for the first time ever - "WHAT A PLEASURE" - the 110M didn't last that long
