Can i ask you if you might know the DNS SERVERS for rain? The primary and secondary
I don't know what the rain assigned DNS servers are, but I use my own anyway as I run a Pi-Hole for ad blocking. I use the OpenDNS and Cloudflare DNS servers on the Pi-Hole.
You can set any DNS servers you want on your router.
Your signal stats look quite good. If you are referring to the data uplink/downlink speeds, those will be low when idle, unless you are actively uploading/downloading. Try set that screen to auto (click auto button at the bottom), do a speed test and watch those values. You will see them jump to your maximum up/down speeds while the test runs.

Here are mine while a speedtest runs. Note the downlink speed and "auto" enabled.
If you are getting good(ish) speeds don't worry too much more about it. With the signal you have, any lack of speed is not on your side, it's on the network's side. In that case, try another PCI and aim and test. Rinse and repeat.

You see thats the thing. Ive tried every PCI givin to me by rain support (they sent me a map and pci of all 4 sites around me) as soon as i change the pci my router is stuck searching for signal. Which is wierd cause the tower im connected to is PCI 351, while rains PCI they sent me for the site is 408 -410. And non of the 400's work.....internet is so bad i cant even load a speedtest without the website timing out. 2 weeks ago my signal was stable actually and good enough to get some work done.

my upload speed was 30, now it's zero again as per the last six weeks.
rain promised a sim swop... still has not happened
yet after they replaced the modem and tested the signal - the problem still persisted
urgently trying to work
rain tech dissappeared again
i had a healthy upload strength saturday evening and sunday the entire day
now that it's monday it's down to 0.00 for upload speed again
...so much for the sim card being the issue
what is auto mode?
and can i not somehow lock my device on the closest tower?
and how do i see where the closest tower is?
would appreciate if anyone can help me solve this problem at the earliest convenience please?
