Rain LTE not Working?

I am pinging an international web site and can see it up and down every few minutes at random intervals. When I navigate via IP on some websites it's fine.
on IRC, my connection hasn't dropped once and using the /dns functions within IRC can see the IP's fluctuate between shown or not.

Found if I did a ipconfig /flushdns and reboot, it's back to normal for a few minutes then starts all over.

Is there perhaps a quick fix to this ?

Which APN are you using?

My "rain" APN was giving me crap with sites like GMail refusing to load, I then switched back to the usual "internet" APN and all is fine again.

Am using the default, APN: internet, as is on the Huawei B616

Just a note: I get request timed (with a ping) out on any website now, but for the last 10 mins or so browsing is fine. *touch wood*
 
Still getting super slow speeds and bad ping same location as always and kinda been going like this all week. First month on rain but fixed for a year
 
You guys arent alone, CELLC fixed LTE also went to the dogs from 5pm. Ping test to google which usually runs very stable around 50ms and 25mb connection, getting 2mb or less or no connection at all.

Has it not got something to do with the DNS day tomorrow ?

Speaking of rain - has anyone had a peak at their Rain fixed LTE dashboard - is everything kosher?

Got no idea why the ping of late on the rain network is around 60ms or so. Gonna test it in kyalami but i think they doing this to mess with people for gaming or something
 
I've been having a very frustrating time with Axxess. I've got two Rain accounts with them for over a year now and the speed, down and up, has been getting progressively slower. This is a result from speedtest.co.za:

ISP: Neology (Pty) Ltd
Ping: 76ms
Download: 0.05Mbps
Upload: 0.22Mbps
Test your speed: http://speedtest.co.za

I've brought it to their attention on many occasions but they're not helpful in any sense of the word.
 
I wish Rain would get their bloody network issues sorted out. slow speeds erratic connection absolutely pathetic.
