Does that mean I'm using band 03 or band 4 ?

So I successfully managed to set it to band 7, which appears to be 2600 | FDD.

Wish I could change band modes but I'm stuck on the 1800mhz band, the tower I'm connected to doesn't support the 2600Mhz band unfortunately. Might end up cancelling my sim and stick it out with my WISP until Rain launches their 5G in CPT.

Yeah 5g need to hurry up and launch. I have tower sort of close by, hopefully pick it up with our door unit

Been checking every day for it. I don't think I'll stay anywhere close to the tower, Mitchell's Plain was said to have one but I did see another post on here showing someone staying 3.5km from their 5G tower and still getting 350mbps so there is hope.

Not much difference.... I think the ping a tad better, but still as congested at 1800mhz.

I disabled off peak uncapped on my sim last month, but its still showing unlimited off peak today

its also saying this

new plan:
pay as you use
effective 31 March 2020

and

"You have reached your gig limit. To get connected during peak hours please increase your gig limit"

rain did your end of month cron job not run?

What was your spend limit? Disabling the uncapped means you use data in a PAYU model at 5c / MB. Spend limit was at R250 then its upto 5GB.

Got to make sure it's at R0 spend limit after disabling the uncapped. This is how i understand it so up for correction if needed.

VPN's don't help here it seems to be something going on with the tower im connected to i dunno if the uplink speed shows uplink to rain or just the tower but uplink has been 94kbps all day and downlink range 700kbps - 4000kbps

I used browser proxy but not VPN. Is there a free VPN I can use to test?
