I've used them a bit. Buy stuff from them you don't really care about, and forget about it. It'll pitch up eventually and be a nice surprise.
 
Struggling to space and back to put through a payment via credit card.

The verisign keeps timing out.. Are you guys experiencing any issues?

Edit: Went through after the 5th try. ;(

At the moment we don't see a cluster of failed credit card attempts on our side, but it does seem like 3D Secure is on the slowside today.

They've been around for some time and been featured in some mybb articles too. So definitely worth considering
 
Raru's search functionality actually works, unlike some other websites!

More Pros:
Competitive prices.
Offers import products.
Multiple payment options.
They also stock all the goodies we like to buy (computer accessories, parts and geek novelty).

Bought there a few times, will buy there again!
 
Basically the same guys that started Take2 which became Takealot.

You can trust them.
 
Only downside is the useless couriers they use. always delays with "contact not available/no recipient at address" excuse
 
I love Raru,
been using them since they launched in 2014.

Over 90% of all my non-digital purchases is probably happening with Raru.
Sent a query to info@raru email last week and had a reply with an answer within 4 minutes.
No stupid automatic e-mail response that someone will get back to me, just direct communication.

I used to happily use Kalahari, then after the takeover I happily used Takealot (a bit sceptical in the beginning but some vouchers and free super quick delivery helped me settle in :D).... but I'll have a look at this, seems promising.
 
Raru is pretty good, used then once or twice. Also loot.co.za to look at

Why?

I order where it's the cheapest. Can't say I had issues with takealot thus far. Used raru once, no bad experience either.

Can't stand loots daily mails, no mobile optimization.
