Accounts Issues

Once again iBurst accounts have taken money that does not belong to them, after migrating both my accounts(i have three in total) to the "new"larger caps(which we now have to request instead of them doing it automatically like last time), i have had funds debitted from my account twice in one month. When speaking to a gentleman from accounts i am told that this is due to the migration.

My question is, i migrated on the 3rd of October, so waht iBurst is telling me is that should you migrate, there is no time in the 30 days before the next payment(which was identical) for someone to check and confirm that no additional charges will be done.

check your accounts and lets see just how much money iBurst is STEALING from us, just as an aside, if they do this to a 1000 clients on the giga 2 to 10 gig migration, they pocket R200 000 for an additional 30 days, interest alone is worth them doing this, which makes me wonder if it not deliberate....................

Please let me know if you have had moneys removed from your account, as if they have not refunded me by the end of business today, i am planning to procede to file a case of theft against iBurst, as they have removed fundsfrom my account illegally, they are only authorised to do this once a month and have simply taken without permission, or explanaition.....

I am also very pissed off right now!

There you go, my last statement at the bottom of the image: R239.16

Main part of the image: the R239.16 getting debited on the 31'st of October, so why the hell did R416.29 get debited a few days later on the 5th of November?

Please explain yourselves as this is BULLSH*T, I want any money back right NOW that is not rightfully owed to iBurst.

My point is, if you are going to send me an invoice for a certain amount then debit that much and leave it at that.
But if you actually stuffed up the invoice and I did owe the other R416.29 I would appreciate to rather be informed about it than just suddenly see that you debited even MORE cash…

Fix your problems iBurst.

Now on 05/11 for R189.68 ... :wtf:

Doubling Billing

Good Day All

If you have been double billed please PM me your account details and I will look into each and every one. Apologies for the inconvenience.

My normal debit order went off last week for R198.

This morning another IBURST debit order goes off for R178 and I see there is another R25 Invoice still pending on Iburst website...

PLease explain IBURST!

After hours usage no longer showing?

We've an M-Web account using an iBurst connection on a month-to-month subscription basis, and have recently migrated from the old Wireless 5 to the new Max25+ package. Our bandwidth data suggests that the after hours allowance is being used correctly, but my question is: how are we to check what the remaining after hours balance is? M-Web's account system has never shown this for iBurst users, but the iBurst site used to. Here, for example, is a portion of a screenshot taken on 2011/09/15:

And here is one taken today, 2011/11/14:

The last time I saw an after hours figure was on 2011/10/19, and as of 2011/10/22 at the earliest, it was no longer shown. Clearly, some change in iBurst's system has resulted in the after hours figure not displaying, but it really does need to be shown: without it, we are completely unable to track the remaining balance on one half of our bandwidth.

I wish I read this before buying a modem...

I think iburst doesn't want any new customers because they've made it impossible for me to apply. I filled out the on-line form on Tuesday evening, the next day an agent called me, but I was busy so I asked if she could call in 15 minutes. I never heard from her again.

I had to call them to start the process. The first agent (Thulani Nhlapo) told me that I couldn't use the second hand modem that I bought because it was for pre-paid accounts only. I called the person who I bought it from and he told me that was not true. So I called the agent and after arguing for a long time he said he'll call the previous owner. I didn't hear from him again (until later that evening).

So I called iburst (again), the second agent was equally clueless, she said she'll get back to me. That's the last I heard from her (until later that evening).

So I called iburst (again), the third agent (Lungile Mzizi) knew what was going on and said she'll cancel the pre-paid account linked to the modem and start with my account the next morning.

So, the next morning I waited and waited and called iburst again. Turns out the agent isn't in for the day. I had to start the process again. The fourth agent (Nkaiseng Ledimo) was very cheerful and helpful at first. I sent my documents for the third time, she confirmed that she received it and she'll get back to me (this was 12:16). I waited until 15:06 and emailed her asking if my application will be processed by the end of the day, she never replied.

So I called iburst (again), the agent said she'll go check on the lady who loads the application forms (the application process is surprisingly low-tech for a technology company). She never came back to me.

So I called iburst (again), got to the agent, she told me that everything is done and she'll send me my username and password. This is the next day and I'm still waiting.

I know that some of you (or all of you) are asking why the hell did I put myself through this hell. I'm asking myself the same question. I guess I already bought the modem and I felt like giving it back and having the guy pay me back would be more cumbersome (LOL).

I think that callcentre is one big party and, frankly, iburst needs to do some cleaning up. This cost me R200 in airtime btw.

I've been in touch with Melanie Ferlito and Karin Abrahams, they've helped me sort out my application and assured me that the issues will be addressed internally. It still shouldn't have to go to management to be sorted out.

iBurst accounts department is a mess..... last month they took to much money.... and extra R550, which they refunded, this month the have takes to little...... and only billed me R330.... where I normally pay R853

Iburst stealing my money!

On Monday 6 Feb I bought a new desktop PS from Iburst in Bryanston.
I took it home and plugged it in and immediately found that it was running very warm - so warm that it was unpleasant to touch - so on Saturday the 11th (the first free chance I had) I took it back to Iburst.
They told me they would have to evaluate it and would get back to me.
Today (14th Feb) they called me to say that I would not be refunded because the PS MAY have been hit by lightning or something.
I regard this as THEFT since the device DID NOT WORK as intended FROM THE FIRST MOMENT and yet I am supposed to accept that it is MY PROBLEM!?!
Even if the PS wasn't horribly expensive (R245 for a power supply?) I would be upset about this.
Can an Iburst rep kindly make urgent contact with me so this can be rectified - I want my money back!!!
