Very slow browsing today, and lots of connection resets while loading sites.

Are there any difficulties with tower 7 in CPT... (Bigbay Building tower)?
Except for tonight, I have had the tower disappear on/off since Monday (7/2/2011) for I would say half an hour at a time.
Today its there but ye wow unplayable... browsing a pain...
No feedback from the query I placed yesterday through the iBurst site... which also says all Cape Town towers are running full steam.

$4!7 happens, and I can be patient but it would be great to know so I dont have to climb on roof to check antenna for kamekazi birds, trace cables in the roof for kinks, reinstall windows on my PC or what not...

As of about five minutes ago, I can access some local sites (this, iburst.co.za, mweb.co.za, dstv.com), but no international (bbc.co.uk, guardian.co.uk, Facebook, Twitter).

Update: And ten minutes later all *seems* normal ...

This is now the second night that we are having latency issues with WoW, Started just after 20:00 aggain same as last night.

Latency went back to normall at about 20:45, was fine after that constant 450ms.

Same issues this morning as in my last post. Latency, some pages failing to load at all, or loading partially or only loading fully after 2 or 3 or more refreshes including myBroadband.co.za. Very slow. Belville, Western Cape

I am awaiting feedback from our local peering partner who said they were making changes last night between themselves and their upstreams. This was effecting local sites.

Update: Upstreams in za were playing musical chairs again.

Cant raid tonight in WoW on iBurst, I get disconnected as soon as we pull trash or start a boss fight.

Funny thing though I have no problems on my Screamer Wimax connection.....

Monitoring from fibre looks ok. Waiting for results from Y.1731 from BTS.
