Regarding Mweb 4Mbps line... getting 512kbsp speeds

Hi there i upgraded to Mweb 4Mbps from 384kbps but i am getting crap speeds...

On Speedtest.net i get 0.64Kbps. That can't be right can it?

Shouldn't it be at least 2000Kbps? That 2Mbps right?

Is my it my line thats messed up or my math?

As I see iit i pay 4times what i paid for only slightly more than double the speed.

I was so excited to get my 4Mbps line. And now its all shot to hell with this crappy speed.

Please keep us updated.I'm on the verge of changing ISP's and was considering the same MWeb package as you have,but if that is the speed then I'm going to stay far far away.

I've spoken to MWEB Operations and it turns out my line isn't yet upgraded to 4Mbps. Although i have spoken to Mweb about this on another occasion and they told me the order was complete and that I am now on 4Mbps...

So now I'm eagerly waiting to see what it'll be like. Will post here then. I hope it won't take too long though. Been waiting a week now!

eah i waited week also, telkom takes a tad longer when you go though a isp for line upgrade.

I'm glad to report that everything is now working correctly! I've been contacted this morning and everything is sorted.

Here's my new Speedtest result (while downloading in the background). It's topped 3.5Mbps.
