FYI... I eventually settled on amber skin. Has a decent OSD for both TV and video and keeps a nice clean EPG guide.
 
I'm getting the 403 error "make sure your entitled to this content and your IP address is allowed (on my lit box - by my folks house).

So I tested it on my phone and went via mobile data and Dstv via kodi worked 100s... could it be Afrihost blocking the ip address at my folks house?

Couple your phone to their WiFi and try again. If it doesn't work, give Afrihost a call.

I did that I think... I ran the dstv on kodi on my phone (mobile data) = worked... turned on the wifi = error

I can only assume it's Afrihost as I tested this on my mibox (which was preloaded with tha app, confirmed working) and then I got the error on that box as well.

It's odd, cause the other addons like venom/seren/tvone111 - they played fine.

Take it up with Afrihost. It must be something on their side. I'm watching via Telkom fibre at the moment and it's working fine.
 
Works fine, Vodacom LTE as well as Vrotfoot & Vumatel with Afrihost as ISP
 
I took their mibox home with me last night, and then proceeded to load the addon, and IPTV merge... worked first time... no errors whatsoever - took the box back this morning, error, won't even log in.

I tried the add-on the weekend on my parents' think Sinotech TV just to play around with it - get logged in and then every time when wanting to use it you have to login again and do the whole TV code thing again etc. So couldn't use it.

Maybe I missed something while doing it.

I finally resolved my issue - I called afrihost and asked them to reset the IP address, turned off the fibre and routers, waited 15 minutes and it worked first time and still working now.

To your issue - I have tried it on multiple devices and I never had the issue where I had to constantly log in though.
 
Experienced buffering on not just the DStv Add-on, on The Oath as well.
