Please do send us and e-mail, if you already have a ticket logged then please do send us your reference and we will look into this for you.

Thanks. I talked to someone on chat line, he mentioned he will look into it. Seems to have been resolved in last 1 hour.

You are on vuma and I am on metrofibre. We both are having issues. It is highly unlikely that there is problem with Vuma as well as metrofibre at the same time.

hmm that is interesting. Thing is my friends in my subub on Vuma were down at the same time? One is will Cell-C and one is Afrihost.

So we have RocketNet, Cell-C and Afrihost down on Vuma at the same time.
AND RocketNet down on Metrofibre at the same time.

I'm confused as they are completely separate fibre companies unless somewhere they rely on the same point of failure?

we always test international traffic to that server and speeds use to be much, much better
ok, there is something seriously wrong somewhere, third consecutive day now.

p.s. speeds are like a yo-yo.

Fourth consecutive day of yo-yo speeds. Only got close to 10/10 on day of installation - something went haywire after that. Some sites such as gumtree.co.za report "network not available" at times. I thought I would never say this with fibre but Youtube experience is worse than Telkom ADSL (4Mbps) I had earlier.

It seems that whenever there is slow down and I use speedtest, it is always Cipherwave server and when speeds return to normal, it is some other server.

Please do provide us with your ticket reference via pm and we will gladly look into this.

Edit: Nevermind. Laptop was running on battery and thus throttled.

Been behaving well for last 4 days. Out of principle, I will be switching to CISP after 6 month period is over. I think rocketnet has not been upfront about cancellation charges. They seem to have gone out of the way to hide 1500 rand cancellation fees. @Ronald-RocketNet - any ideas where are these charges mentioned on website?

Sure, but to be fair, they have good service reputation and savings is 100 rands per month for 10/10. Savings of 1200 per year is not too shabby in these days.
