During peak it's slower sure, but that's only like 3 hours in the day, the rest of the time it's fine. Also most stuff on the internet these days has a local presence.

200Mbps definitely worth value wise, it's only a few bucks more than the 100mbps.

I can see the merit in this.

200Mb/s speeds over decent wifi kit on 5Ghz is definitely achievable and 200Mb/s download speeds for a cost-effective price is definitely a nice to have

I try to avoid wifi as much I can but yes, in the correct place in the house I can get full 200/200 speed over my wifi.

Morning tests, I'm not bothering with local because that's always full speed.

As you can see the speeds international are perfectly acceptable and very dependent on the server you're testing to.

i see your point but unfortunately peak time is also when people are trying to play games and the experience is not that great with this speed problem
it is not just 3 hours sometimes it is bad till the next morning

I haven't seen any major issues during peak times with latency or packet loss since Octotel fixed it a few months back (it was terrible before that), so I have zero issues gaming at any time.

And as most game downloads come from local CDNs download speeds for new games and patches are also not affected.

If it is easy, it might be on the cards.

when testing this with the phone there is no buffering and download speeds are normal

after 7pm and in hd

another download same file in the middle of the day at full speed and no buffing on youtube hd
will do another one in peak time tonight

this one is in peak time and at halve the line speed and when the speed gets this bad then youtube starts to buffer as well
do they not have enough international bandwidth for peak time or is the problem with the upstream provider ?

can not watch anything on youtube in hd at the moment as it just buffers permanently
