Waited three days for an answer about the latency issue, got a canned response about how they don't shape or throttle :sigh:

Looks like I'll be moving ISPs, my initial experience with Rocketnet was very good on the customer support side but something seems to have changed - they also seem to have disappeared from the forum.

Thanks, the latest reply actually starts addressing my concern. I have forwarded through the entire list of IP blocks for AWS in the eu-central-1 region - that's as good a place to start as any.

For anyone playing along at home (cc @electrofreeze), this is the response from the engineers:

We can confirm that we have changed Transit providers at the end of Aug, from WorkOnline to Seacom. Please can he provide us with IP;s of the game servers, we will log it with the IPT provider.

Morning Leno, thank you for your message, and we trust all is still well.
Yes we do, we plan on offering a dual-stack implementation, but just working on some internal routing before we can do this. It won't be available on Vumatel Active Ethernet as they dont support IPv6.

We hope and trust that you will find this in order.

I got a reply to my ticket regarding the latency to Germany and they have definitely tweaked the routing somewhat although it's still not as good as pre-August. And routes to AWS Frankfurt nodes are still the same unfortunately

Hope this means they'll continue tweaking things to get it back to its former glory.

This host I reported previously had a latency of 200ms, it's now down to 172ms but that's still not the 157ms it used to be:
