RouteSentry for Vista (beta) - please help me test

hi guys.. new to this so apologise if this has been raised before...
trying to split local/int using routesentry in vista but from what i've read you need to use a router that supports half-bridge.
Currently I'm using Telkom(??Billion) ADSL 5102G and am sure as how to do this.
If it is possible can someone please advise or point me in the right direction.

thanks guys for the help... think i managed to get mine working use Billion 5102..
Task manager networking shows both connections (LAN and Local account dialup) are active which i think means local is working. downloading on newshost tonight.
so will see tomorrow if my telkom account is capped guess i made a mistake but so far so good.

Ive been trying Dans way

but i cant seem to get half brigde mode working. When i create more then 1 connection on my router (smc 7904BRA) it says unable to create , the same VPI/VCI value has been used by VC1 please modify VC1 under wan menu for new settings.

Any ideas ?/?/?
 
Hey guys. I got the Telkom Wifi router and I folowed the steps on setting routesentry up. Routesentry detects both acounts. Vista says the local only acount isn't connected to the internet(it does log in, i can see a blip on taskmanager) but it is never used after the login. When routesentry is running and both connections are up, I can't browse websites. They just don't load. Xfire works fine though. The usage isn't split it just goes throught the international one. Any idea's?

Sorry if it's a bit deurmekaar.
 
After testing it a while it apears that the international is sent correctly but the local isn't send to the local only acount. I can be on xfire, surf international sites but nothing local.
 
so here goes, i have route sentry working on my pc at the moment and i have the marconi premium dsl router but now its broken and i have to get a new one from the telkom shop but they dont hav them any more i have to take one of the mega ones, which one will routesentry work on, ie which one supports bridging?? hope you can help in any way would be great??

I have a similar problem. Using Vista x64, and I have set the telkom router in bridge mode, creating the account on it as my TI (international) account, and created a PPPoE account in Vista for my local account(Webafrica). Howver, it seems as though all the traffic goes through Ti, and isn't split correctly.

BTW

I notice that the default gateway on my ethernet disappears when setting up Routesentry. It could be the problem (maybe).

Anyone jnows please help us out :(
 
Eish, sounds like you guys really have some serious problems. Got my Billion 7300G yesterday and everything works 100% on Vista & RS. Using Vista 32-bit btw. Maybe you guys have configured something incorrectly somewhere ? Shout if I can be of any assistance..
 
Blitz, the current version has expired, also got the error this morning. I also made a thread about it, where I said that ant1body should release a final version now, as this expiry setup is really annoying and the worst part is, is that there isn't a newer version available on his site at the moment.. :(
