Hmmm. That might be a problem yes. The battery drain of such a monster chipset.
I have the Tegra 3 chipset in my older Xperia S Tablet and the games on there are much smoother than on my newer and suppose-to-be-faster S4.
Interesting times ahead.

My experience is that if you want an Android device for gaming it pretty much has to be in the Tegra line. There are too many glitches otherwise. The K1 devices are going to dominate the gaming class tabs/phones.

I thought I summed up my opinion on the 'multitasking' quite well. The idea that iOS is only able to manage one application at a time is misleading.

Since when? Good grief if you don't root your Android phone you're missing out on half the good stuff. Certainly the majority of decent customisations start with rooting.

You can't get a very deep level of customisation without rooting. But for the second point... so does jailbreaking.

More than you can do on a windows phone.

Give me an example of this deep level of customization.

Anything that requires Xposed. Bootloaders. Custom roms. The ability to run the most up to date version of android and manufacturer features.....Oh wait that's not customising is it? How do you classify 'jumping through hoops to get it to do what should be taken for granted?'

Why do you place such emphasis on what for most people is a very niche feature? But yeah you do for sure.

Android still needs work, for instance I find my iPad 2's gyroscope still responds faster when I flip it to landscape compared to every Android device I've tried.

I won't buy an iPhone though, the battery life is just too poor for me and I like tickering on Android.

I can specify the notification light to specific colours so that I know at a glance whether I have a missed call or an email or WhatsApp etc. I can make any mp3 my ringtone but I guess any phone except the iPhone does that. I find ios is just too restrictive for my liking.

As for comparing the specs of the latest devices for running apps etc it's overkill at this point, I'd suggest you upgrade your phone every 2 years and stop buying every iteration, there's been less and less improvements with each generation.
