I'm indicating that the premium early adopters in SA would pay is more than double what it costs in the US. R16500 vs R7800 in the US... or $1375 vs $650...
US prices list the 6+ 128GB as $949. How do local retailers justify selling it for nearly double that?
Imports.
Not being locally supplied.
If you want to jump the queue, then you pay. Simple as that.
Actually he used to be a die hard Apple fan years ago, then moved towards android but kept some Apple devices......so if he goes back to Apple now it wouldn't be too strange.
He's had good and bad things to say about both sides.
I've come to the point where I need a solid core that stays the same.
Yes,and core group will be smiling all the way to the bank.![]()
As far as I know CORE have nothing to do with iPhone. They are supplied directly by the service providers.
Interesting...so then Apple is basically raping us in SA by adding premiums over what the US pays?
These are not Core prices.
And the price in the US does not include state tax. Look at the current exchange rate and you will see our prices arent that bad.
Again you people are acting like retards.
These are grey import prices. These are not Core prices.
Stop sharpening your pitchforks.
furk me sideways... I would never (with current monetary value) pay that cash for a phone. Doesn't even matter if it came make my bed.

£789 in the UK for the 128g plus. That R14k. And that includes 20% vat. You are being nicely fleeced with these prices![]()
