It's the law, you need their consent.
Not if it's a prerequisite. Looks like it is mandatory. I found the official gov guide for provincial and national. Will look at it later. Considering this is the cabinet, it should be easy as they are not allowed to have other jobs

From 62% to 47%? Ku rough mos?

The PA is truly doing the Lord's work.

Nope. The DA expects to lose some of its coloured supporters to the PA but it's about mitigating those losses which they did very well here. You don't get an award for coming 2nd place where wards are concerned.

It's forever declining, it has even declined from what they got in 2024.

The DA is a party in distress, the gangster is dealing with them nicely.

The DA might be a party in distress to some degree

The ANC is a party in absolute freefall though.

The ANC gained a ward yesterday, the numbers don't lie mnganam, retaining the wards you already had with a reduced majority means you are declining, gaining new wards means you are surging, as my good friend Mustafa would say.

Surging would be a reach there Champy,

When your options are the ANC, PAC, Al-Jamah and a random independent basically all the choices are crap.
But also that ward happens to be part of the Amathole district municipality, which further confirms the fact that the ANC is becoming a rural party at a rapid rate.
