The EFF might still vote with the DA and oppose something while in the GNU, like they did with VAT.

But it will still be good to have them in to guard against the DA holding the ANC ransom on stuff that has to do with transformation and redress, because that threat is always there with the DA.
By transformation and redress you mean enriching a few connected cares while destroying the economy hey champy?

If they're that diametrically opposed, perhaps the anc should simply remove the DA and replace them with everyone but MK.

That is not a gnu party

Insourcing of functions is something I actually agree with
There are a lot of jobs that done even require 10% mentality that are currently outsourced even though the municipalities employ people

Get those people to do their jobs
Security/Meter Reading/Environment maintenance/Robot Maintenance/Street signs/ Cleanliness all come to mind

The GNU with the DA in it is finished. It just needs to be made official.

The ANC is already negotiating with probably the EFF and the MK as they know working with the DA is going to be impossible.

The DA is stubborn still sitting like a duck in the GNU saying if the ANC wants them out, they'll have to kick them out.

Interesting times ahead. 🍿

Well, ANC can't add anyone unilaterally, according to the statement of intent.

It needs to be unanimous. That's why VF+ opposing is a big deal.

But then again, it's not like the ANC cares about the statement of intent.

P.S. Keep your salivating for a doomsday coalition under control for now.

Empty threats and optics. They want to appear to be in charge, knowing that the alternative of shacking up with RET will accelerate the end of them...

The problem is worse than efficiency. As long as entity functions are outsourced, it will always be a breeding ground for corruption. There's no fixing corruption without doing this as a step...

The whole point of the GNU is that you will not always agree on everything, the ANC and EFF will not always agree if the EFF is in the GNU, but the ANC know there is something they can get from them they can't get from the DA, it doesn't mean there is nothing the ANC can benefit from the DA.

There is no contradiction except the fact that the redress and transformation can never be stopped and the ANC will never be ashamed to publicly canvass like minded parties in that regard, same way there is nothing wrong for the DA to canvass other parties to influence the GNU in their desired direction, but we all know they don't have too many options compared to the ANC.

The DA doesn't oppose the principles but rather the failed ANC policies that created a new elite in the name of "redress".

Get over the delusion that the DA can be gatekeepers of the GNU, they can't be, everyone is welcomed whether the DA likes it or not, the fact that all the parties look like threat to them is their problem.

Hey, retard.

24. In keeping with the spirit of an inclusive GNU it is agreed that the
composition shall be discussed and agreed amongst the existing
parties, whenever new parties desire to be part of the GNU

I.e. it needs to be unanimous incl. big, evil DA.
