Do you have 5 such names. I mean, they are fairly well-known so you would know them ?It is fairly well-known in most towns, that members of the local police are owners of taxis, hence "protection".

The ANC definitely have a vested interest in taxis but people also need to take responsibility. Don't get into taxis that are clearly not road worthy or overloaded. Don't put up with a driver that is breaking every road rule under the sun.
You are the customer, you dictate the level of service you expect and if you don't get it, take your business elsewhere. Ive caught taxis in my younger days and once you're familiar with your route you know who the good and bad ones are.
