Thanks, very useful, and the first result I search for, Joburg, actually shows the DA dropped from 26% in 2021 to just under 25% in 2024.

Do you think that’s as bad as a 17% drop in a national election?
 
Poor Pravin has been dead for a while now, can we give him a break?
Never. That man caused a lot of suffering for a lot of black people working at SOEs under Ramaphosa's first term. People were sleeping in their cars at some point suffering due to him.

He can catch his break in hell. He was not a good person.
 

It says that “in real terms, most South Africans had 53% less disposable income in 2024 than in 2016.” The divergence between different income cohorts is stark.


In what most readers of this website would categorise as the ‘most’ middle-class segment (with an income of between R20 000 and R30 000 per month), incomes are at 85% of what they were in 2016.

Well done to the spectacular performance of the cadres.
