Mmm, different way of looking at things :) so any news from handtec on your orders?

Considering they say "Customers will receive tracking via email over the weekend (20th-23rd May) as we prepare to ship.", I have to presume that Monday the 23rd (apparently part of the weekend now) will be when they start sending out notifications. I don't think anyone there works on the weekends... They sure didn't do anything when I was working out my credit card stuff with them last week.
 
Don't expect anything from them until after 11am as that's when they open shop

It really depends... If you take your phone to the beach on a regular basis, not long... but that being said, even if you rub it in the sand, it would still work, it just wouldn't look nice.
 
Latest report on an email from handtec
"Your order is with our dispatch department and we are expecting stock for the Samsung Galaxy S to arrive in week commencing 23.05.11. Please be advised that we will be shipping orders on a first come first serve basis and hope to have all our back orders fulfilled in next weeks shipment."

If I were to guess, I'd say he emailed them asking for an update. I asked on the other forum, but still waiting for the response.

Someone who placed their order on May 4th (payment went through on the 9th) got their tracking number...
 
Paid on the 6 th, Paypal, Handtec and sagepay(do not know who they are) confirmed payment and order the very same day. Nope no tracking #. Hope for tomorrow.
 
Apparently they are going based on the day the order is placed then... That works for me, it took a couple days for the credit card to go through... Hopefully they've gotten enough that you can get in on this batch. If they're only doing the orders from the 4th now, then you're still not out of the picture... yet...
 
What made me a bit pissed of with them is the fact I asked them about availability of stock on the 4th, (you have to supply your email address on their site for them to confirm when stock is available). At 12h00 on the 6th they confirm by email they have stock, Within 30 minutes I paid them via paypal and the next morning the sad news of no stock came through. Also all emails send to [email protected] returned as undelivered.
 
Ya, definitely would not recommend them to anyone else at this point...
 
yep... but with clove this time... same sort of security checks, but wont make the same mistake twice.
Will just get em to ship to my registered credit card address.

Still have to send through either passport / drivers license or bank transaction code :sigh:
 
Another report of Order: May 2nd, confirmation May 5th getting their tracking number...

Why do you not use paypall?
 
Clove is now reporting more stock due on Wednesday the 25th. I think it is safe to assume handtec will be sticking with 'the week of the 23rd' lol. But they did both receive stock on Friday, so I think its a safe bet.
