I installed RR3.0.5 last night, upgrading from RR1.9 or something.
Used to have JuiceDefender on but now my battery life is better even without JuiceDefender. That on its own is a huge bonus. Have not played with it a lot, but all my apps are working so far.
Don't know much about kernels, but I was on Siyah and kept it that way.
Do any of you know why I don't get data when using rr jellybean. It works on ics and I have duel boot. I've tried different modems and manually putting in the apn settings but it does not save. Also tried to refresh the settings be pressing *#*#4636#*#*
The ROM contol on rr3.0.5 drains a lot of power aswell, set your settings and freeze it(I used anttek app manager) and your battery should last about 15% longer(with me anyway)

Jacques
I stay away from all these apps that improves (so called) battery life. I freeze what I need to with TB and then use UV on the battery profile on Siyah. Tried Juice defender in the past and realised it uses the power it saves in order to save power. I never had a real benefit like you guys do. When I started charging my phone last night, I was on 62% with screen on time of over 3 hrs after a total of 19 hrs. I could probably have had 2 days and over 6hrs screen on time if I left it. I have a 2000mAh battery. I am happy with those kind of stats
Just a quick question. Not at PC, so searching through this thread will be a hassle.
Do I have to wipe dalvik cache, or any cache for that matter, before flashing Siyah kernel?
Just wipe cache and Dalvik cache, yes. I think the script may already do that, but rather be safe.
I assume that's after flashing the kernel?
Is it worth running a JB RR ROM on S2? I'm currently running 2.5.1 and quite happy, but if there are performance improvements on one of the later ICS ROMS or a JB ROM, then I'd like to upgrade...

It's nice and smooth. I had it for like a day and went back to MIUI

I got tired of MIUI on short order. It's pretty and all that, but RR has me feeling like I have a phone that looks good and does it all.![]()
Sometimes when I play a game the screen "darkens" for a while (then comes back again), how do I solve this?
