I flashed another stock rom and now it gives the following message the whole time: "unfortunately the process android.process.acore has stopped"
The 3G works but the phone freezes the whole time.

sounds like you need to wipe dalvik cache or do factory reset
Try to fix permissions while in recovery.
There is a new version of ICS Resurrection Remix, 2.7 out if anyone is interested.

Can't wait for a RR Jellybean update, there are few little bugs I have discovered while using it, notably:
1. When playing music through Google Play, each time you skip to a new song the volume resets to the default setting (very annoying).
2. The voice search crashes if you use it a few times in succession (not major though as it's pretty quick to get back in there).
Talking about JB though, anybody have some recommendations for a good alternate JB rom?
No, I've tried the Pure OAKP ROM (by westcrip and piere I think) and the 2.4 Rootbox ROM, both were very bad and annoying. But I also would like to see the volume issue in play to be fixed. The walkman player doesn't have the same issue but then the equalizer doesn't work in it at all:-( I love that 3D effect setting...

Which player are you referring to that you can't get the EQ to work with? Btw, I also love that 3D setting, it's really one of the nicest spatial DSPs I've heard, in moderation of course.
Eh, I once installed a ROM that came with a walkman music player app, and I just backed it up with Titanium to use whenever. And in it you also get the same equalizer settings but even though you can enable the equalizer, it and it's settings have no effect on the sound coming out of the phone whatsoever.

Ah ok. I'm looking for an alternate app to use in place of Google Play that can access my online Google Music library, doesn't look like Google supports this yet so I'm stuck using their player. Think I'll just use the Google Play app to download the songs I want to the device and then use another player, though it's nice having access to all my songs at a push of a button.
Did not work.
So it seems that a full factory reset is the last option.
It is anyway a good time to test some ROM's which I have been delaying.
Ok, bit delayed, but here goes, try freezing / uninstalling google+...
Quite some time back, that did the trick for me...

Edit: Full wipe took the problem away.

Even with the new ROM I lost 3G again. I tried my wife's SIM card and got 3G immediately. It seems that SIM card is buggered.

thats because the app needs some lib files to
be replaced in order to work properly . . .i think..thats wat i had to do when installed it..the folder came with the files
revolt rom...havent tried but looks good
